Vicars of St Peter's Ilmer

The benefices of Horsenden and Ilmer were united in 1865 and dissolved in 1933. Ilmer was united with Princes Risborough in 1970.

1682 William Lillingston licensed as Curate William Lillingston, the vicar's son, is officially licensed to serve as the assistant priest (Curate) in Ilmer. [14]
28 Oct. 1687 Marcus Parker appointed vicar Marcus (Matthew) Parker appointed vicar of Ilmer by Charles Dormer, Earl of Carnarvon. [13][16][17]
2 Jan. 1701 Death of Vicar Parker Marcus (Matthew) Parker, vicar of Ilmer, dies. Lipscomb states Vicar Palmer[sic] was buried at the nearby parish of Dinton on 26 Sep. 1700, believed to be in error. [18][17][19]
2 Jan. 1701 Charles Cornish appointed vicar Charles (Carolus) Cornish is appointed vicar. He later resigns after being offered a church position in Wales. Lipscomb states the year as 1700, believed to be in error. [20][13][21]
21 Jul. 1722 Henry Stanbridge appointed vicar Henry (Henricus) Stanbridge became vicar of Ilmer, appointed by William Stanhope, Esq. Lipscomb states the date as 27 Sep. 1722, believed to be in error. [22][13][17]
